Press release — Paris, 27 May 2025. Maeliom Ventures, Maeliom’s investment arm, announces that it has acquired a stake in GenEvolutioN, a company specialising in regulatory and non-regulatory studies in toxicology and the life sciences, serving the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chemical and medical device industries.
The transaction forms part of a capital increase carried out by GenEvolutioN, in which Maeliom Ventures took part alongside other existing investors and new entrants.
Support that goes beyond advice
For Maeliom, this shareholding reflects a central conviction: supporting a company’s transformation is not confined to advising it from the outside, but can also mean an equity commitment aligned with its long-term interests.
We did not want to be one more supplier. By becoming a shareholder, we share directly in what is at stake for GenEvolutioN as it grows and builds its structure.
— Mickaël P., President of Maeliom
About GenEvolutioN
GenEvolutioN is a French company recognised for its expertise in genetic toxicology and its ability to test complex matrices, serving a portfolio of clients across the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and chemical sectors.
About Maeliom
Transformation, not just advice. Maeliom helps businesses move from strategy to execution — and will go as far as committing alongside them as a shareholder when conviction warrants it.
That conviction — supporting a company means committing, not merely advising — runs through the way Maeliom works: the consultant who stops at the diagnosis leaves the hard part.
This shareholding is part of a wider move announced a few months earlier: the change from Studio MIKL to Maeliom, and the separation of the three activities.
